Longines L5.155.4.16.6 wrist watches news:
The Cubli isn't a watch, but if you love mechanical timepieces you are going to love this robotic cube. Designed in Zurich and no doubt somewhat inspired by mechanical watch movements, the Cubli is an ultra-modern robot that feels like what happens in Switzerland when people with a focus on the past also focus on the future. When I imagine how the watch industry can better interact with the technology industry I think of something like this. What is Cubli? It is a 15cm perfect cube that moves by itself using a series of spinning wheels. The wheels create momentum but also provide balance due to the power of centripetal force. Not being a physicist I am not going to even attempt to explain how it works using all of the proper terms. What you need to know is that it is amazing to see in action. The result is a cube that "walks" and can stay balanced on a point, even on moving surfaces. In addition to moving and balancing, the Cubli can also jump.Inside the Cubli are what the makers refer
This is a very special Lange 1. Only 600 WG, silver dial, and blued hand Lange 1 were manufactured. It is the reference 101.027x.Enjoy,Bill
I purchased this watch in December 2002 ,it has never been worn it still has the Omega plastic on the clasp etc, I have decided I would like to sell it can anyone offer me some advice on its value , While I realise it is a Omega it must have some value to a O collector.Best RegardsPaul
Hello all,I am considering purchasing a 5124G preowned. I have not seen the watch in person nor tried it on. I have watched a youtube video and it looks really nice. I love the deep blue dial. I have owned a JLC reverso before so the shape is fine for me. It looks like the watch really sits on the wrist nicely. I currently own a PP 5110J world time and the 5146R annual calendar. What do you guys think about adding the 5124 to my collection? I don't have a white gold piece or a blue dial piece so I think it would add some nice variety to my collection.Does anyone have any experience with this piece? Do you think the white gold and blue face is a fad or will it be able to stand the test of time? Thanks very much. You have a great forum here. The collective knowledge on this forum staggering. PS I would add pics but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.
I had a Sub inch to scratch and did that last year when I bought a nos 16610. It has been my daily wearer but will be replaced as that by the BB58. My problem with the Sub has been that is it too recognisable and I find people and clients staring at it, more so than by Ceramic white dial Daytona. At the start or Rolex ownership I wanted this type of under the radar acceptance that I had a nice watch but as I lived with them i stared wearing watches for me and not others. I’m now at the stage where I want what I like and not what I think others would like, for sure this is the attraction for many to Rolex and it was part of it for me. I’m over that now. So, I always wanted a vintage looking piece but it is a mine field trying to find something original and good for a fair price.....Enter the BB58. It looks the perfect size for my small wrist and I really like the design, so I have agreed to move my Sub on and waiting quietly for the 58. The Daytona will have to take up the slack for a whi
