Longines Longines 39229 wrist watches news:
The build up was intense. Months of teasers and speculation to see what new CEO of TechnoMarine Vincent Perriard would do to the brand that desperately needed a refresh. At the same time, Perriard only had a few months because he was new to the brand - fresh out of his seat at Concord. His task was to release new watches for Baselworld 2010 to be interesting enough for people to notice the brand again. Not an easy task, especially given the molasses like pace of the watch industry. The middle of March was the proving ground - would the new collection have enough appeal to convince enough people the brand was? worth paying attention to again. In the 1990s TechnoMarine was a big deal because it was another "mold breaking" brand. I've discussed this before, but I will again because I think it is important. TechnoMarine opened the doors to modern luxury sport watches. Not that they themselves were super high-end, but the brand revolutionized the concept of who wears sport watches, and when
Summer season is about to end therefore my job schedule is getting lighter day by day.I see some days by the beach in the next future and some days in the pool's home aswell...chilling down after a tough summer at work.Time is to have my SD to meet the water element...Now I read a lot of people would never use their SDs to swim,no matter if it's pool or sea water. I've bought my watch to fully enjoy it even in it's natural enivronment and I intend to do so.Still, any precaution ?? I'm actually more scared about the pool's water than the salty one...Is the after swim rinse enough ??? Can't wait to have my baby salt-encrusted !!!
I recently bought some mainsprings for a variety of movements6/0, 8/0, 14/0, etc. Some of the mainsprings are Dynavar and specifically for the 8/0 747, 748 movements.I noticed last night when trying to install one the Dynavar variety was considerably narrower than the typical spring I see and it was also a little shorter. But the narrower part concerned me since it needs to fit in the same barrel. The almost looked like they should be for a different movement (like a smaller ladies variety). However, I have several similar springs all in labeled packets. So - I was wondering if anyone has experience here and can offer an explaination. Are Dynavar springs supposed to go into a special mainspring barrel? Is the narrower width a concern at all?
Hey guys! I've been searching forever for the rubber straps for my watch. I realized they were quite expensive and the 20mm straps were harder to find than 22mm. Then one day, after seeing Speedmasters and other watches on NATO bands, I came to my conclusion. I went online and bought a NATO strap for $20 shipped to my door. I used the old spring bars to install the band. The watch feels completely different, maybe it's because it's significantly lighter. Even though it's not an actual OMEGA product, I think they look great together. A perfect match! Enjoy the pictures fellas!
Hello - A quick question, will a 5227 calatrava deployant clasp fit on a 5127 watch strap? Thanks!
