Panerai PAM00024 wrist watches news:
For a couple of seconds every hour, the dial looks like a mess, but then all is made clear. Meet the Harry Winston Opus XI. Click here to read WatchTime writer Martina Richter’s in-depth report on the watch for our July-August issue, along with a video of how its ultra-complicated movement works. The circles, spins and flips of carnival rides were what inspired Denis Giguet in his design of the Opus XI, unveiled last year as part of Harry Winston’s Opus series featuring offbeat watches conceived by various independent watchmakers. Every hour, on the hour, in the span of 2 or 3 seconds, the hour display – a system comprised of a multitude of wheels, pinions, arbors, bearings and tiles – disintegrates into utter chaos and then returns to order for the remainder of the hour. This chaos originates from a “completely normal” watch movement with manual winding, a 48-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 21,600 vph. Hello, I am the owner of a brand spanking new Omega Speedmaster, calibre 3606, day-date, 3220.50.00. (I am a gober, but I am particular about time.) But this is not my first Omega purchase. When my husband and I got engaged, I bought him a Seamaster GMT while we were both stationed in Saudi Arabia. I might not be really model savvy, but I have a Ladies Tag that we got for $800 that has only missed a beat when the battery gave out. So this watch gaining time was making me crazy! Plus I had waited 6 years for my Omega and then after losing our infant son on Thanksgiving, we did a little retail therapy and I got my Omega. So I carried it back and got me the Speedmaster d

Okay, not really - but the title got your attention, right? Seriously, I'm curious about why we "Like" a post. Is it:because you like the watch?because you like the quality of the photograph?because a funny or intelligent comment was made?because you hope the poster will eventually sell that watch to you cheap since you flattered them?Maybe that last one is only me. Anyway, what's the reason(s) you choose to like some posts and not others?
