1577681gross.jpgI have just inherited an IWC DaVinci SL Chronograph 3728. I do not know how to set it or use the chronograph functions. Can anyone help me? Thanks for any instruction someone may be able to offer me.
Just got back from vacation in Mexico. It was a very romatic and beautiful vacation. Got back just in time for the big game tomorrow. I found this sundial on the resort that I thought may bring interest to some of you. I checked it several times and it seemed to keep fairly accurate time. I am thinking about getting one of these for my yard. I do not really know how to read them or much about them but I still want one. I thought it may be of interest. Take a look...This is the sundial. The outer ring with the numbers from 1-12 is mainly what I looked at. I am not sure what the inner ring symbols are or what the center ring hash marks indicate. Perhaps they tell more accurately the time?? I mainly focused on the outer ring numbers and it was generally close to the actual time of day. [IMG][/IMG]Here it is showing the actual time on my Seiko Titanium which keeps perfect time. My watch is showing 4:00PM as is the sundial..[IMG][/IMG]
One of the many things I like about my Steelfish is it's lume.
Here are some photos I took while in Mexico last week. No photoshop here so I hope they look ok.

I used the charts and reference library to get a rough idea of the period of each code I found:Case Serial code: X4..... (1991)Clasp Code: R11 (Nov 1993)GMT Manual: Jan 1992Your Rolex Oyster: Jan 1992Red Chrono Tag: Single crown hologram (90s - early 2000)Box code: 68.00.55 (90s)Calendar Card 1: 1994-1995Calendar Card 2: 1995-1996Dial: SWISS-T<25Originally I thought the Calendar cards were given out at services but I just learnt that they are part of the set the AD assembled during the purchase.l - but why 2? The dates of the booklets are 2 years earlier than the calendar cards, is that normal? The clasp is 2 years younger than the watch, but taking
