New Steampunk Watch Direction: Asymmetry, Big Gears: New Items From Olga Clock Works
It's been a while since I covered new work from one of my favorite watch and clock artists; Olga Narozhna (click to visit her site). I wrote an at length article about her here. Among her many fine efforts, she offers really interesting steampunk watch creations, that if you are lucky, she sells on eBay. Jazzmaster Viewmatic price changes
Just added to my modern, Swiss Hammie collection with the purchase of a Viewmatic H32515555. The box had a MSRP of $475 and I know that the current MSRP is $625 and has been since early 2008. So my question is: Does anyone know when the price went from $475 to the somewhere in the $500 range? Just trying to figure out how long my watch has been sitting around. And yes I paid based on the box price with a discount.Also, since this seems to be a frequently brought-up topic, my watch's dial has "Swiss Made". The Hamiltonwatches web page pictures of the Viewmatic do not have this. What do other Viewmatic owners have on their dials.Thanks.

fake speedmaster 3513.50
I recently purchased (as in last week) a Speedmaster 3513.50 from a grey market dealer. I took the watch to an AD and he commented that the color of the luminous material on the hands appeared dark. I got on ebay and looked at some of the auctions and found the same model watch where the hands appeared darker. After looking athe pictures of the auction I noticed that my watch has the EXACT same serial number as the one in the auction. I take it that these are both high end fakes?

Just curious as to how many of you all develop more interest in a watch once you hear that it's been...Discontinued!!!
