Longines L2.673.4.78.6 wrist watches news:
OK all,I stopped in my AD today & sure enough, he had the yellow gold Day Date II. So I took it outside & got a few pictures. Here they are...First Impression-WOW!!!!!!! I'm with Christiaan on this one. The fit was absolutely perfect for my wrist. IMO it had the elegance of the Day Date in something I could wear. The size even gives it a bit of sporty elegance. It's a good thing it costs so much or I would have seriously put thought to ordering a rose gold version right there & then. This thing was fantastic looking on the wrist - I saw zero flaws (well, except maybe the price)Now, I know there's been some discussions on the size & proportions of the dial to bezel to case. So, I pulled out the digital calipers & took some measurements. Here's the results of a Day Date II and for comparison the Day Date as well. One thing you'll notice. Not one single dimension is the same as the original. Dial, bezel, case - even bracelet & clasp are not the same size.
Hi, i have a mens gold coloured omega quartz wristwatch and wanted to know if anyone know anything about it? its got a white dial with the omega logo and the words omega quartz underneath, its got a second hand, day and date, and its got the omega logo engraved under the center of the cyrstal, its got a button either side of the winder, and its got a stainless steel back with the omega logo on it,its also got the omega logo on some of the parts inside.thanks dave.
The Jumbo 15202 vs the RO 15400. In the same collection that is. I ever thought about flipping my 15400 for the Jumbo since the theory goes that the Jumbo is a more authentic and superior version of the two ROs and keeping the 15400 after acquiring the Jumbo will be redandunt. But now having compared them many times, I think they are actually rather different. The 15400 is probably concieved as a beefier and sportier version of the original RO while the Jumbo with its thin profile and elegant looks is considerably dressier. While arguable, I also think the 15400 has a newer / more advance movement and a more robust case design. So I think they can complement each other. Or am I off track? So what are your thoughts?
I'm thinking of buying an older Breitling chrono from the 1950's. No sure which model yet, my question is servicing these watches......any problem with getting them serviced or getting parts? Any thoughts pro or con would be appreciated.Lance
What¡¯s are people opinions on bangles and bracelets? Any pictures? Any recommendations?
