Omega 500 watch need info how much it would be worth????? IS IT RARE????
VINTAGE 1955 OMEGA AUTOMATIC WATCH. The inside movement reads Omega Co swiss seventeen 17 jewels unadjusted and there is also a number 14877326. Also on the movement under the Omega symbol it says 500. The inside case reads Omega Watch Co Ross GX-6267 0186250. As you can see this was given as a gift for Christmas in 1958 which is inscribed on the back of the case. The watch runs and keeps time. I believe it to be gold plated but I can't seem to find a mark so I will let you be the judge and sell it as is. I will also leave a little history on the Omega 500 watch."Automatic 470/490 and 500, 1955Designer: Edouard Schwaar Description: These were the first gents calibres with an OMEGA rotor: the 470-25 mm with centre seconds, the 490 -28 mm with small seconds which replaced the famous 28.10 mm with bankings launched in 1943, as well as the 500 mm, with centre seconds, with a rotor that was more powerful than the oscillating weight of its predecessor, the 28.10 mm, the chronometer versions

Any watch winder recommendations for a ROC? I have Orbita Spartas for my 2 Rolexs. I'm not too concerned with case or looks, since I'll probably put it inside a drawer or safe. Just want to get a good 2nd home for my baby. While I'd spend $$$ if it's really worth it for the longevity of the watch (since I sometimes don't get to wear it for a several day stretch), I'd rather not break the bank too badly.Thanks in advance.
