Maurice Lacroix 75326 wrist watches news:
Last night, we at HODINKEE, along with our friends at Wempe Jewelers on Fifth Avenue, welcomed the entire NOMOS Glashutte management team, as well as over 200 watch lovers to a downtown NYC gallery space to celebrate the *official* launch of NOMOS in the United States. Now many of you may be thinking "hey, but NOMOS has been available here and there for over a year!" and that's true. NOMOS has been sold at Wempe, and more recently at Tourneau for a little while now, but last night marked the Glashutte manufacture's official jump to the US. The party kicked off their plans to open dozens of new doors all over the United States. 2 OF 33 Guests were able to see, try on, and play with the entire collection, including the brand new Metro (designed by Mark Braun, who was in the house last night), and Our own Stephen Pulvirent took the stage at one point to say an official welcome to both NOMOS and all our guests. 3 OF 33 Overall, the response to l
Hi all,I have got a new OM and I found thet the serial is 001235, is this mean that my monster is 10y old? Should I do something, is it bad? I'm a bit worried....here it is with a nato:
OK, I must confess, last week I bought a Chinese GMT off of e-bay for $50. I was the only bidder so no shill bidding occurred. The watch is a Chronomat (no not the Breitling Chronomat) which is the typical 40mm, ETA copy (I must say the second hand is silky smooth), has a rubber gasket on the screw down crown, is in very good shape and keeps great time. So far so good for only $50. But, uh Bejing, we got a problem....The GMT hand moves about 3/4 of an hour every 2 hours. Is this because the Chinese measure GMT time differently? Is it because I do not know some hidden trick? I have been able to turn the GMT hand and set it. Is it because for $50 what should I expect?Yeah Yeah, I know it is probably the last choice. I did know of the problem going in so feeling cheated by an e-bay scam is not an issue here. So here is where I stand with this. I can:a. probe the minds of members to learn some hidden trick to setting the gmt handb. probe the minds of members to learn how to take
Since I bought the 2531.80 last December, I didn't get a chance to email Omega after sales service until a few weeks ago. I asked for the Omega COSC test certificate (not the Chronometre card).I finally got it, and its a big 8.5x11 sheet with the timing tests done to the movement. I got my watch Dec 06, but the test date was Oct 05.Anybody else got theirs from Bienne?
I lately have this STRONG urge to flip my 116610ln for a 126334 black stick jubilee. The proportions are perfect on the DJ (and though I love the sub, the it¡¯s proportions are a strong debate. I honestly can only have one or other. Most watch people say the sub will hold better value. I don¡¯t care about that as it is not a tangible rational. But the sub is a great (maybe perfect watch). Thoughts? Hold sub and appreciate what I have, or move on to DJ41? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
