Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Chronograph Watch
Jaeger-LeCoultre has been riding a wave of high praise in the wake of their SIHH announcements of vintage-inspired watches, such as the Tribute to Memovox Deep Sea of 2011 and the Tribute to Deep Sea Chronograph?from earlier this year. While we like tributes as much as the next guy, we really like it when a watch manufacturer, especially one as well-regarded as JLC, can dig deep and create something that stands on its own. hi i used to love logines and have 3. i went to an AD the other day to find my next watch, i currently have 18, and i liked the look of L2.717.4.78.3. i want a nice complication watch to add to my collection but when i tried it on all the pushers on the side did was change the date day and dont know ?? is this normal? i was half expecting something grand to happen :P i thought it would opperate a mini chronograh or something else. the price of this watch is entering rolex teritory and that was going to be the next buy so if it does something cool i may consider it. does anyone have this watch or any info on it??

After a frustrating 4+ hour drive home in this snowy mess, Windy handed me 4 packages that arrived today!From left to right: a NOS (modern) replacement crown for my Omega Centenary, an Omega Gen¨¨ve Dynamic caliber 565, a Zenith El Primero caliber 3019, and my IWC came back from some adjustments courtesy of the eBay seller's watchmaker. All of a sudden, the 4 hour debacle was erased from my memory! I'm doing an ongoing thread on another forum about the Zenith since it needs some TLC. Got a few of the absolutely wonderful Illumzenati crowd helping me source parts, and I'll be documenting the pieces as they come. I can't tell you for sure how long an El Primero has been on my Target of Opportunity list because it's been years. Finally found one that ticks many boxes on my favorites list. It's C-licious! Anyway, time for my buddy to do the happy dance!
