Ulysse Nardin 1600-100-8 wrist watches news:
I need help! I'm not a miss, it's my how I address my customers.I have a pam 111 in my hand. Someone wants to sell it. It has an engraved movement, not an aluminum sticker. It has a swan neck regulator, blued screws, the correct font. No box or pps, non-original strap.I don't want to sratch a blue screw to see if it's painted in case I don't buy the watch. Is there anyone out there that can give me definitive instructions?thanksn.
Growing up, one of my favorite watches was the Universal Geneve Polerouter. An early Pilot's Watch, the Polerouter was priced at about the same cost as a Rolex Explorer.A few years ago, when I was 40, I finally got my Polerouter. This model is a 1958, a little older than I am.Below is a pic of my Polerouter, along with the "Polerouter Story."new strap:the following is from www.polerouter.comTo shortcut the flights from Europe to California (USA) by some thousand kilometers, the airline SAS (Scandinavian Airline System) opened new routes over the North Pole in the Ninteen-Fifties. All crews on these flights had to take part in a special training at the "SAS's Arctic Flight School". The swiss watch manufacturerer Universal Gen¨¨ve provided the crews with automatic precision wrist-watches that are resistent against the strong magnetic field of the polar region. They became the offical chronometers of SAS. SAS' Douglas DC 6-B "Leif Viking" On the 15th November 1954 at 19:18 local t
Hi all,i just recently picked up my first AP ROO Chronograph (REF. #26470ST.OO.A101CR.01). First of all its fantastic. From the box to the booklet and of course the watch it all surpasses the rolex watches i own. The details and finish on the watch are really amazing. Wish i would have made the step earlier to AP and allready looking towards getting another AP. I got one question though. The lume on my rolex watches is far better then the lume on this watch. Yes it glows, but fade out really quick compared to Rolex. Is this normal on all AP's i wonder? Thanks.....
will give a great balance to the dial.
I've just came across a very interesting read comparing the variants of 16610LV and it appears that there are 8(!) variants produced in a very short time span:.network54/Forum/20759...ary+Submariner(Hope is ok to post links to external forum)Some very subtle differences mark the different versions. I've started to dig in for similar info regarding the 14060 versions as I found out that the watch that I own a F-serial 14060M have a Fat Four bezel insert exactly as in the some LV variants (e.g. Mark 1 and Mark 2).It appears that Rolex used the Fat Four bezel inserts on certain Submariner models produced in 2003/4 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner watch.More info /confirmation of the above will be appreciated!More interestingly, on some dial variants of the 14060M the Swiss Made (below 6 o'clock) index spans over 5 minute ticks and on some over 3 minute ticks.I know, to some people these sort of details are quite boring and uneccessary but I love them - they make me ap
