- This is a great talking point if you want to show off your mathematical knowledge. It is rather , though, so not really suitable as an everyday watch for men unless they are thin wristed!

The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), which took place last week in Geneva, is probably the world’s most exclusive international watch fair, with an invitation-only guest list. As we did last year, WatchTime wanted to give our readers and diehard watch fans a peek inside those hallowed halls of horology, courtesy of these exclusive photos by our own Mike Disher. A sports watch to be worn even with a tux.My condition of Rolexitis is not improving.Collection now:GMT Pepsi - 16710DJ - 16200 Tudor - 94210 (I consider it part of the family)Milgauss GVSS Daytona - 116520 (white Dial)My last two acquisitions Milgauss GV and SS Daytona .....squeak.Sound coming between the bracelet and the lugs.I don,t remember this from my older watches.Did anybody else experience this?Is the noise due to the SEL?Does the ..squeaking stop after some time?Pete
Well, it's not new, but it's new to me! An esteemed colleague of ours sold it to me and I received it today. It's gorgeous. I love it. I now know how Timebender felt when he got his. I hope he can get everything worked out because it is a watch that makes you smile everytime you look at it. I haven't stopped grinning like since I bought my Speedy, and before that my Ventura. There's a twinkle in my eye and I recommend every Hamilton fan go out and buy one. SS or gold, large, medium or small, if you like vintage watches, this is it.It's so cool, I've actually taken off my Khaki for the first time in two months. Here's a photo that my esteemed colleague shot. I hope he doesn't mind me using it. I'll take some photos once I can get the chance. Photo courtesy of our esteemed colleague.I believe there are three watches every Hamilton fan should own. A Ventura, a Khaki, and a Boulton. This makes my fourth Hamilton: Ventura Chronograph, MIB Digital, Khaki Field Mechanical, Boulton Thanks ag
Noticed something concerning on my watch today and was wondering if it's normal on the 233. If you look at the crystal edges from the top (looking at the dial), it appears like the edges of the crystal (sides on the inside facing towards the case) are dirty or the crystal is sitting on the inner flange of the case and that part of the sad is dirty. Basically where the crystal and case meet. Seems to be all around the circumference of the crystal and I don't think its glue? Can someone confirm this please. Here's a pic of the issue.
With so many posts about Rolex as investments I wanted to share a good rule of thumb that I use myself. I feel this applies to 99% of situationsIt¡¯s a mass produced watch. It will go down in value as soon as you buy it. Give or take a little, estimate 25%-30% drop in value from msrp depending on the watch. The great part about a Rolex is that you can cash out of your ¡°investment¡± easier than with other watch brands. However, YOU still need to sell it. Remember, on the forums you¡¯re competing with trusted sellers, etc so you¡¯ll have to price below them to compete and you¡¯ll likely have a bit more wear on your piece then they normally do on theirs. Over the long-term, used watch prices will follow the current msrp trends so maybe in about 10 years your watch may actually be selling in the used market for around your original purchase price (msrp). In addition, you¡¯d have to factor in insurance costs which for my 116710 is $68 per year. At 10 years of ownership I¡¯ve paid $680 in addition
