- I have a large wrist and the description of this watch said it would fit up to a 9 wrist. NO WAY! It barely fits a 6 !/2 wrist. The watch is pretty, but if you have a larger wrist, this one's not for you. I'm sending it back.

Maurice Lacroix MP6508-SS001130 wrist watches news:
I tried the 42MM version on yesterday at the Beverly Center Boutique and it is one nice looking watch. I was told the bezel is ceramic and scratch resistant. The bezel does have a "matte" finish, which is slightly gray in appearance, as was the clasp on the rubber strap. The clasp is no longer polished, but instead has a matte finish similar to the bezel. MSRP for the 42MM with a bracelet was $6200.00, and $6100.00 for the 42MM with the rubber strap. I feel the watch is worth the price. Still less expensive then its counterpart (SUB), and if it is like my 2909.50.82 2500 calibre version, then it will also be more accurate then my Submariner 16613 and Datejust. Actually, I think I will may sell Submariner to finance the new 8500 calibre Seamaster.

I'm trying to find a bracelet to fit a 42mm Khaki Field chrono, which was originally equipped with a bracelet but is currrently on a strap. Interestingly, the bracelet models have slightly different lug hole spacing (case to lug hole) per Hamilton's factory advicewhich means that the straps end up making the lugs look slightly longer, as the gap between the watch case itself and the end of the strap is longer than designed for. That considered, I can't find these anywhere, was wondering if anyone might have a lead.
from the New York Sun:Famous for its luxury wristwatches and other timepieces, the New York jewelry company J. Bulova began manufacturing watches in 1911. A pioneer of advertising, it was an early radio sponsor of shows such as Charlie McCarthy and Jack Benny, and distributed free clocks to stations in exchange for on-air mentions of the brand name. It maintained an observatory atop company headquarters at 580 Fifth Ave., where an astronomer was in charge of divining the precise time by observing the heavens. The company had a manufacturing facility in Jackson Heights, Queens.
Not sure if this qualified to be important to post a thread about it ;) but where it says Swiss Made, Rolex have added a crown symbol between the words. What do you guys think?
