- The watch was nice, i actually was lucky and liked it better than the picture, but the picture in it makes it look dark blue in the middle, when in reality it was black.

Maurice Lacroix PT6148-SS001-131 wrist watches news:
I am interested in a watch for sell from 2nd Time Around (one of the sponsors), but I do not know much about vintage Breitlings and would like to get some second opinions. What do you think about this particular watch? Is it fairly priced in your opinion? Any other information? The link is below. I am interested in the rose gold one. Thanks in advance.Vintage & Antique Watches In-Stock - Ready for Next Day Delivery
After I posted a question on the general Rolex forum about trading my DSSD D-Blue for a Diver, after many comments and deliberations, I decided to keep the DSSD AND buy a brand spanking new Diver (15710ST) from an AD.All I can say is that after one week with the Diver, I don't want to wear any other watch in my collection ! I am smitten with the Diver! Now, back to the title of this post... As much as I love the rubber strap that comes with it, I had always loved the trademark AP hornback straps, and particularly the one from the Safari. After seeing the new Safari last week at the Las Vegas boutique, I was set on ordering the strap. BUT, my only concern was that it would require a tang buckle. I am not a big fan of tang buckles on expensive straps, as they wear out the leather after a few months of use, while a deployant would not add any wear at all. (I have had PAM's with deployants whose straps would look like new after a year of use.).So, I was pleasantly surprised
Messing around with some pics outside. Man, did my wife pick on me.IMG_1526.jpg
Any guesses on where this one will sell today? Low-end estimate is about $15m, but with all the hype the watch has gotten coupled with the owner dying yesterday (which sort of adds to the story), I think it will hit $18m. What do you guys think?
Thanks for helping guys. I am visiting Miami the next weeks and would need some help with good and trustful Rolex Vintage Dealers.Mille Grazie ;-)
