- Disappointed that the dial was so ,way too large for my wrist. My husband thought it was a little too much bling. Sorry I had to send it back.

Longines Longines 38976 wrist watches news:
Here's my 6138 - 0030 to start things off.I've had the body polished and crystal replaced. It works fine except for a creeping 12hour register, but it does reset to 12. Usually i reset it at 8 am or 8 pm so that I have both Malaysian time (gmt +8) and gmt time. It's on a non-stock solid metal bracelet which has been ground down to an 18mm lug size. I've got the original folded metal strap but its too short for my hand and feels a bit on the flimsy side
One of my wife's favorite German brands is Sothis. Having a WIS wife helps me immensely...last nite I replied that I have no money for watches. Turns out, she was making a suggestion for the Featured German Watch thread. She has a Limes Artemesia as her German watch(below, pic from watchbuys) And now to our featured brand of the day, ladies and gentleman, I present, SothisFrom WikipediaSothis is the Greek name of a star that the Egyptians considered unusually significant. The star is not explicitly identified, but there are enough clues for modern scholars to be almost unanimous in identifying Sothis as Sirius.Plutarch states that The soul of Isis is called Dog by the Greeks Sothis was identified with Isis in many Egyptian texts The Greeks called Sirius the dog Sirius is the brightest star visible in the sky The first appearance of Sirius in the sky each year occurs just before the annual Nile flooding The Greeks called the Sirius period the Dog Days and associated them with the ho
What would it cost to have a new bezel put on by Panerai? What's your best guess for how long it might take? Just curious compared to Rolex service.
Has there ever been a model that has both a diver bezel for timing stuff and a GMT hand for keeping track of second time zone? Probably it would be quite messy looking for a Rolex as there would have to be two numbered 'rings' but other brands (Omega for instanse) have done it with more or less aesthetically pleasing designs. Is there a chance Rolex would conceive such a watch? Speaking against it is 1) cannibalisation on both Sub and GMT models, and 2) it doesn't really fit any known professional category of usage which Rolexes are known to have. Any thoughts? New to this forum so apologise if this has been discussed before.
If I see one more hulk thread, I'll be buying one also. That's also with wifes permission.
