Ulysse Nardin 8006-102-3A/92 wrist watches news:
I started a thread a couple of days ago asking about service for Speedmasters. I looked for it just now, and but it's gone. Can someone please explain how this could happen? What was that thread removed? Or am I missing it somehow?
I just went in to look as a courtesy. Truly. I love the idea of a moon phase watch. I mean, it's just a super cool complication. But I'm gravitating towards smaller watches lately. That's not to say I don't admire larger size watches. I do. I just seem to be wearing my 39 or 40 mm watches. And all the reviews I've read state that this watch is BIG. I knew I was not going to like it. I was wrong. And it really doesn't feel big. In fact, on leather, it's downright butter on the wrist. Crazy comfortable. The looks just blew me away as I find it extremely attractive. i think it's the smallish lugs that make it wear smaller than it is. I wore it to sleep last night and I barely felt it on. And the lume was surprisingly strong for my nightly 2:00 ritual. Its definitely very thick, but I don't seem to notice that either. I'm 99% of the time with my sleeves rolled up anyway, so it's not a huge issue. Regardless of it all, and the fact that I continuously surprise myself with my ever evolving p
i always kinda thought that omega was the 'came in second' guy in the watch race being such a rolex devotee.....but i was with a few guys and we were discussing watches and my pals dad (80) mentions his omega he's had on his wrist for 30 yrs.....so he takes it off and hands it to me....and i get it.....i get the omega thing....solid, conservative but clean designs....but after learning a bit about movements, i actually think omega is busting a move for a move into competition with rolex with the twin axial thing....and actually as a lifelong competitive swimmer myself, omega is all over the place with references to sports timing....so heres my thinking....i do think we're gonna have another financial 'adjustment' and i think future adjustments actually are just markers for new 'financial normals'.....and i think that at the price, omega just may be a better place to put $ than rolex in a challenged financial market....im diversified re watches (rolex, omega and a tissot as a surf watch
While I was picking up my new bronze 671, I saw 716 Mare Nostrum, 685 and 687 3 Days Acciaio in the showcase, they are such nice looking pieces! Wondering is panerai really this cold now?
Hi allI have a PAM423 which I have very happily been wearing and swapping straps over since I bought it a few years ago.Unfortunately I managed to snap half the tip off the end of the screwdriver end / blade this week whilst tightening up the strap screws.I can find the whole screwdriver for sale but I only need a replacement tip /blade which I expect to be a lot cheaper than the whole screwdriver. I havn't asked my supplying dealer yet, but I imagine Panerai may only provide the whole screwdriver at great expense.Does anybody where replacements can be bought at sensible cost? For the avoidance of doubt its just the black anodised tip / blade that I need like the one on the left in the pic below. Many thanks in advance.
