Maurice Lacroix MP7009-PG101-110 wrist watches news:
Hi guys, my first post. I am thinking of buying a pilot chronograph so went to check it on my wrist this morning. There wasn't a black faced one available and the light face is not what I am looking for.Anyway....you know how it is whilst I was there thought I would see what all the fuss was about with the big pilot.Unfortunately and I'm sure you've all been here I really liked it. My wrist is 7 and1/4" so I thought it looked ok,( I'm sure my wife would tell me it looks stupid.)A new one is rather more money than I was intending to spend, I am happy to buy used and am not fussed about having the latest movement. Any views on the going used price I should be paying?I don't tend to churn my collection so will probably keep it but do they tend to retain value ?Is this a stupid idea and should I just go back to the pilot chronograph? Thanks in advance
OK ....Had an Item on EBAY...It was listed properly, pictures, description and shipping policies and price of shipping plainly listed......I don't hear anything from the buyer for a week and then I get an Email. " Hey can you lower the shipping cost it seems high for such a light item......"The Item in the box weighs 2 lbs and is going the the other side of the country, actual shipping is $10.72I had asked for $12.95 ......I sent the guy an email back saying this and adding that the other two bucks covers wrapping, boxing and a five mile drive to the post office. Do people not read and understand the part about price is already listed?
Hi there, I purchased a Planet Ocean around 10 months ago and up until a week or so ago it was running fine. However, over last week it's started gaining around 30s a day - the odd thing is that it keeps time overnight when it's not being worn and is only running fast when on my wrist! Any ideas about what's going on?CheersDTW
