Not my grail watch, nor even an heirloom watchBut WOW. It is a great piece. Looks absolutely stunning!!! The band is a bit stiff, and the deployment is a bit uncomfortableBut for $75..Yes thats right, $75, I got a stunner. I simply cannot see spending $5-8k on a Panerai for a look I can get for $75 (that includes shipping also)!!!!! If it lasts a year I wil be happyBut looking and feeling this watch, it just feels like a quality piece. I LOVE THIS WATCHI am ordering 6 more for family members.I was going to just try it for a while to see if I wanted a Panerai, but I had some negative interactions with some Paneraisties and their attitudes made me more attracted to the Homage type instead of the Panerai.. I plan on spending lots of $ with this vendor of quality pieces. PM me if you want contact info.. .. But upon seeing the quality in this watch, there is no need to spend 8k on a look and feel I can achieve for $75.....

Need some input with my collection
Looking to switch up my collections a little bit and wanted to get some feedback. So I have a few options I have been running in my head.Current collection is AP RO RG silver dial on leather strap, Rolex GMT TT, couple vintage pieces (one VC one Rolex) and a couple Carl F Bucherer that I wear for beaters and under the radar.I am looking to add a rubber band watch, leaning toward AP Diver black dial or VC Chrono black or blue dial with blue rubber, old version. Also looking to move the GMT to a SS Rolex. Does age of the watch matter when purchasing RO?
Hi,I have an opportunity to purchase a 2005 15300 RO in good condition. I am a bit disappointed to learn that the watch is a 2005, so it's close to 8 years old..pared to say 2011, 2010 which I have no problems accepting.It's like buying a used car, we always choose newer & low KM cars.. Does the same concept work for watches?Are there are differences between RO made then and now...things like clasp? Thanks,

Railmaster update . . . a thing of beauty . . .
Well, after wearing the Railmaster for few day to let it settle in, I set the time right on the money at time.gov. I checked it a few moments ago and after five days it has lost 2 1/2 seconds. So, it looks like a -1/2 second per day chronometer. I'm very pleased with that performance.As it turned out, the one addition link I added back on January 6th was not enough. So, a few days later I added the second extra link I purchased and removed the 1/2 link segment that originally came on the watch. Thus, a total of 1 1/2 extra links were required for my 8 3/8 wrist.This guy is really growing on me . . . it's like I felt when I got my Rolex TT DJ back in '87 . . . my goodness, could this be . . . after all these years . . . could I once again be in ?
