Michele MWW06A000027 wrist watches news:
The super famous Tissot T-Touch line just keeps getting additions. Interestingly enough some of my most popular articles are those on the T-Touch Expert and the Sea-Touch. People love these things! Last year at Basel 2009 Tissot released a diving version of the T-Touch with the Sea-Touch, and now we will have the Sailing-Touch. Yes, the name of the models are getting less and less elegant, but the style is looking sharp, and the interesting new functions are always welcome. Interestingly, this new watch will feature a bit of a lower price as I understand it, with some luxury features as well.First let's look at the style. It is a real departure from the aggressive looks of the rest of the T-Touch line. The look is smoother and feels more like a boating instrument, but that is the point right? Here are two color varieties. Tissot indicates that initially the watch will be available with a lacquered white, navy blue, silvered, or black dial. In addition to an available rubber strap in wh
I haven't posted on here for ages, mainly as I've been working all over the world. My Omega Planet Ocean LE developed a problem after less than a year of owning it, I jumped into a swimming pool and it leaked. It was sent back to Omega and they kept it for just under 6 months, then returned it to me repaired.A few months later I noticed condensation inside the screen, so I unscrewed the crown and left it to dry, which seemed to work.Fast forward until just two months outside of the two year warranty.I was working in the Caribbean, noticed it wasn't keeping great time and tried to adjust it...but the crown and stem had rusted and I couldn't alter the time. Now fair enough I like to dive and usually I'm in the ocean most days but isn't it supposed to be a dive watch? To cut a long story short Omega have had it now for 3 months and I was just informed I have to pay the repair bill myself.I own two Omegas and was already planning a third but my money will now go to IWC or Rolex. I've heard too
Hi, I have just pulled the crown out of my watch to adjust the time and the crown and attached stem came out of the watch. I assume a stem must be secured into the watch somehow but I have no idea how. I pushed it back in and it feels quite secure but would prefer to explore how to fix it properly.I would appreciate ideas please unless it is a job for a watchmaker. Thanks
modern Hammy today. Have a nice one everybody!!
Hi TRF, first post here! I知 looking to pick up a new (to me) Rolex. I have a 6542 that my dad痴 dad gifted to him when he graduated from the Air Force and I have an AP 15202. Both watches I feel are too fragile for what I want and neither do I wear all day every day. I purchased an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean back in 09 as my first, nice watch and I致e thrown everything at it: surfing, snowboarding, dirt bike rides, backpacking, etc. and the watch still looks great and keeps great time without a service. However, I知 looking to upgrade the Omega to a Rolex.I知 familiar with the tried and tested criteria Rolex watches go through, but I知 curious when they started testing the watches beyond the limits the watches would ever see. I致e narrowed my choices down to a Submariner or a Sea Dweller (40mm). I知 looking for this new watch go go everywhere with me to get knocked around and build its own character. How far back I should narrow my selection to, knowing the watch has gone through the gamut
