Oris is pretty well known to me as a maker of workhorse watches with all sorts of sporty themes. Maybe it is racing, or diving, or aviation - Oris has a handsome watch for the job. Less people know their retro styled watches. One such example is the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date watch. It has a terrible name (no effort there!), but totally falls into the category of what I call "the dad watch." Yea, that looks like something everyone's "dad" used to wear. Are you a predominately a vintage or modern watch collector. I realize most collectors have both in one's watch stable. But I noticed that we tend to have more then the other when we tally it up at the end of the day.If you can please add the brands you collect..It is interesting how we gravitate to a particular brand.One note..I have noticed a big increase in vintage watch posting on WTF lately. My collection stands at 80% vintage and 20% modern. All Rolex and Patek exclusively. I gravitated to these brands because of the plethora of available parts and the factory support on the service end. Arthur

Hi All,I am considering selling my two Hublot watches so I can buy the AP 15202. I used to be a big Hublot fan, but I recently found myself growing out of the brand and looking to resizing my collection to fewer watches but with more value and history. I currently own Rolex submariner 16610 and 16613, Rolex Milgauss GV and a PAM392. My question is do you think I should be selling my two Hublot watches to buy the AP 15202? I know this is an AP forum and most of us here love AP, but I would greatly appreciate your unbiased opinion. I am not considering selling any of my other watches as I truly love each one of them. The Hublots I am kind of bored of them and they don't get enough wrist time. However, again I am wondering if it is worth it to lose two watches to buy one watch. Also, does the AP 15202 retain its value? If I am to sell the Hublots I will be losing a good amount of money. I don't want this to be the case if I ever decide to sell the AP.
