Does anyone have any thoughts about this Perry up for auction from a private seller on e-bay?Hamilton 2 Tone Gold 1933 Perry Tonneau Barrel Watch - eBay (item 330481294594 end time Oct-12-10 17:43:37 PDT)Photo's show a restored case with a white gold-filled bezel and green gold-filled case. But in prior discussions in this forum, it seems there are really no tu-tone cases from the 20's and 30's, with the exception of perhaps the Barrel?Could the case have been re-plated with green gold-fill and the bezel left with white gold-fill? Incoming! My first Omega
I finally picked up my SMP 300M today!I have to say, without the manager present the crew at the Manchester, NH Jared store are a bunch of...uh...provide less than excellent service. I'm going to have to go back because they gave me the box for a Planet Ocean (PO embossed cleaning cloth, 3 year Co-Axial warranty hang tag, and COSC Hang tag, oh and wrong serial number hang tag...) and my warranty card isn't filled out. Ugh.That said, I've been staring at my wrist since I picked it up around 3:30 this afternoon!I swear...I'm not trying to be James Bond...And the 300M has some of the nicest lume that I've encountered thus far (with the exception of Luminox) - it's a beautiful color and just looks great in general. I love the way that the skeleton hands look in the dark.Thanks for looking!
