One of the most unusual watches we’ve seen in a while is this bronze prototype – rated to 1000 meters’ water resistance – made by Officine Panerai in the mid-1980s, as part of a project to develop dive watches for the Diver Corps of the Italian Navy; the watch is going up for auction this week from Christie’s. Apollo 11 platinum version
HelloDoes anyone have one of the platinum Speedmasters with the gold badge on the dial?I think the watch was to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and there was just about 69 made. I would really like to see one of these.Thanks
