Movado 0606981 wrist watches news:
One of the most interesting complicated watches to come out of SIHH 2014 is without a doubt the Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar Terraluna from A. Lange & Söhne. It uses a regulator-style dial layout with the addition of a perpetual calendar, a 14-day power reserve, a constant force escapement, and a graphic orbital moonphase complication right on the plate of the movement. This is an absolute beast of a watch and here we have a ton of live photos and all the gritty details for you. 2 OF 22 A. Lange & S?hne Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar Terraluna On The Wrist The first thing you'll notice looking at the Terraluna is just how big it is. At 45.5mm in diameter and 16.5mm thick, the Terraluna is bigger than what most will want to wear on a daily basis. It sits about as well on the wrist as one can hope for at this size, but it's not sliding under any cuffs. The two advantages to the size though are the clarity of the relatively busy dial and the a
Hublot CollectionIntroduction:Despite the fact that the global economy is still in turmoil we live in a society where Millionaires are common place. In fact, to be considered wealthy in this day and age you have to be a multi-millionaire. The small percentage of super-wealthy Chinese (although even 0.01% of 1.33 billion would equate to 133,000 millionaires!) are spreading their new-found wealth around with enthusiastic abandon. Therefore, the so-called luxury industry is still buoyant. However, it still takes skill and integrity to become successful within this niche market. One such brand that is showing all others how to achieve incredible year by year growth, in this already bloated sector, is Hublot.Jean Claude Biver:Hublot as a brand existed as far back as 1980. However, Hublot as we know it today is a relatively new-comer to the high-end watch industry having been revitalised and re-invented by the marketing, managerial and design genius Jean Claude Biver in 2003. Admittedly I am not familiar with Movado; however, I just saw an advertisement in (I believe it was SI, 1 DEC) a magazine, and the Movado had a face, with some sub dials, and a date at the 4 position. Are they changing their tune? Or has anyone else seen this?
audemars piguet royal oak 15400 black dial or royal oak offshore diver? and why?
Because of this forum, I caught the 16710 bug like so many others. I decided to zero in on one with SELs and lug holes, and after much searching, was fortunate to come across a great deal on this beautiful K-serial. It's in great condition, but the bezel did have just a few marks on it. I went to Dallas RSC over lunch one day and they put on a new bezel (old one had a small dent that would make installing and removing an insert difficult) and new Pepsi bezel insert as well. I absolutely couldn't be happier, this watch is everything I thought it would be and more. I can completely see why many think this is one of the best references in the Rolex lineup.Hard to imagine this one coming off the wrist anytime soon.
