Breitling A13380 wrist watches news:
Came across my father's old watch and was wondering if it could be refinished, would it be worth it to refinish and maybe sell it. Back of watch says M68 and it does still work. Says Automatic and Super Waterproof-(which means?). It's seen some wear and tear. I would hate to get rid of it, but medical bills have to be paid. Also how do you tell if a watch is fake or not, I picked up a Rolex watch when I was in Iraq, but I have a feeling it was a Folex(fake Rolex)I had bought it for 5 bucks off a kid. It still works and tells time, but was wanting to check it out, I'd sell that one 1st of course. Any help would be appreciated and I'll try to get a pic of them both. Thank you for your info and help.
Hey everyone, Much respect, but I'm new here, and I honestly joined just in hopes of getting a clue about this mystery watch that I've just inherited. So far, I know it's a Hamilton, I think it's a Ventura model, I'm 80% sure I've seen this watch in Men in BlackHahaha I thought it would be easy to list on eBay like the other watches I inherited (swatch watches that I know a little more about) BUT people keep asking me questions about it and making offers before the auction has even really begun! I had to sell most of the watches, but they were all easier to research. I have been laid off from banking and eBay has become my livelihood while I'm applying and interviewing for new jobs. Dad is a watch fanatic, but Hamilton isn't really his style, so he couldn't provide much insight about it either. I know I'm not being helpful AT ALL so I did take pictures, please see them at this website - my personal Flickr album Hamilton Ventura Men's Watch eBay Auction - a set on Flickr Any help or adv
Too much talk of sport watches? Post pics of your Calatravas! I'll start, here's a lovely ref. 3998j...
This forum seems to be somewhat Nautilus/Aquanaut-centric in my opinion. But I have always considered the Calatrava range to be the best representation of PP (that is not to say the others are not iconic). It's a shame that not as many Calatravas are shared cf. Nautilus/Aquanaut/Complications in this forum. Please show us your Calatrava's gents (and ladies)!
I am getting that little itch again to buy something different so I am looking for some input on a decision I¡¯m trying to make. I m thinking about trading my TT GMT Master II plus some cash for a close to new pre-owned TT Daytona with the Panda Dial. I seem to be drawn to that Panda dial. My GMT is a P serial number that I have had since about 2003. I own some SS pieces and just want to keep a TT in the stable. Would be interested in hearing some opinions on trading or just keeping what I own?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
