Ball Watch Explorer Guillaume N¨¦ry’s Video Goes Viral
The new video from Ball Watch Explorer Guillaume N¨¦ry is called Free Fall – an unlikely title for a film shot underwater. N¨¦ry is a world-record holding freediver and the video follows him as he “base jumps” into Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas, one of the the world’s deepest underwater sinkholes. The video was filmed entirely “on breath hold” by French free-dive champion Julie Gautier. Since its May 30 launch, the video has racked up over 3.2 million views. While the video does not depict an actual record dive attempt (the creator’s description identifies the video as an artistic undertaking), the imagery is compelling. My Tissot Seastar II modern vintage auto doesn't get as much wrist time as it should. I finally figured out that I didn't like the factory fake 'gator brown strap. My Tissot AD had a good aftermarket plain black leather one and switched it out, putting the old Tissot signed buckle on the new strap. I like it better.

Black leather on black steel and rare vintage Breitlings
So I'd been tossing around the idea of getting a leather band for the winter. Is it me or does anyone else notice a huge change in Breitling leather straps as of a few years ago? They used to be supple, perfectly stitched and the breitling markings were more deeply imprinted on the inside of the straps. Now, I find the new straps feel cheap and harsh. Well long story short, I found an NOS older black 22/18 strap and jumped on it. Quite pleased with the results. I also have to give a shout out to the service tech at NYC's Breitling boutique. A very nice gentleman who showed me some really amazing rare vintage Breitlings that he had in the service room. I'll post some photos below.

With Basel 2018 just around the corner, What do you wish that would happen to The Daytona this year!? Me personally... I wish for a White Gold Daytona/ WG Bezel/ Olive Green Colored Dial (like on DayDate 40s) on a Bracelet...who says ya can't dream!
