- Beautiful watch - I do love it. The only drawback is that the face is really tiny and hard to read.

There is also a Serket logo scorpion placed on the movement. I was reading several posts and I saw reference by someone to having a watch from the year of his birth. The more I thought about it, the more I became intrigued by the idea. So I am in search of an Omega watch from 1965. I've been thinking of perhaps gold with a leather strap or some sort of Speedmaster (sport not dress). I'm willing to put some decent money into it but I'm not sure how much. I've looked at and passed on a ROLEX GMT MASTER CHRONO STAINLESS STEEL priced at about $7500 (interesting watch) and a Patek Phillipe at about $5600. I'm somewhat drawn to an Omega at about $1600 but haven't pulled the trigger.I'd like to request suggestions from Omega fans. Please either upload any photos that you might have or point me to where I might see some examples of what Omega was producing in 1965.I've attached some photos of the types of watches I've looked at so far. Thanks very much.A.
