Watch moods - which mood are you in these days?
Now you might be tempted to interpret my thinking of "moods" as "Which watch do I feel like wearing today?"And while that's often a scenario that plays out with forum members, I'm sure, I'm taking a different view.I've noticed lately some changes in my buying habits. Styles of watches I thought would always be my go-to styles are waning in desire for me. I'm discovering not only new styles, but my past trepidation around some indie brands (indie brands in general, that is to say, no brands specifically) has all but vanished. In fact, I've swung so far as to have a desire to NOT buy known brands these daysOnce in my young life, I felt digital watches were the pinnacle. Why would anyone NOT have a digital watch?! Themed digitals (Star Wars), watches with games and with calculators occupied my top watch spots for years. Round about the time Oakley Frogskins (sunglasses ;) ) hit my radar, so did Tag Heuer. And so did carsto which I drifted and took every cent I could muster along fo

Sorry that I don't know more about them, and that my photography skills are so bad.A lady I work with brought these in today to show me.She allowed me to bring them home to photograph and share them with the people here on WTF.The one on the left and in the center are Ejgin's.The larger one has a serial #in the 5,600,000's I believe making it manufactured around 1895.I know that it is a size 18 from the receipt.The middle watch has a dial that measures two and five sixteenth inches.The little watch on the right is a Waltham the dial measures about one inch wide.All three are working and have been recently serviced.

Which speed master to get?
Hi allI'm considering getting a speed masterI have a Rolex currently which I will keep and have been eyeing up the speed master for some time now. I like the clear caseback and the whole idea and history of the moon watch holds appeal also. The traditional simple iconic look I think is great. I'm open to used. Any thoughts as to which model I should be steering towards? In some ways I don't want to go with the new models due to the subtle changes that have gone on over time.
