A week or so ago, I posted a poll on Invictas.Nearly 78% of the responders own or intend to own the brand, which is also the forum's most popular based on a running poll at the top of the General Forum.So what was this all about?Well, some folks in Invictaland have said they feel like second class citizens here at WTF. I wondered if they were right - even though I didn't think so.My analysis, based on the admittedly limited number of responses, is Invicta is accepted - if not respected - here at WTF. After all 65% of the folks who responded to the survey own them!While there is much negative chatter about Invicta's customer service, quality control and fearless leader, which many - including me - feel is deserved, I would say the general perception is positive.And I honestly don't think anyone here looks down their nose at Invicta ownership. Just got my second ap. after trying on many different models I stick to this strange taste

it started a couple months ago, when I snagged one of the new 46mm beastly Planet Ocean Chronos. Sized the watch, put it on. Everything seemed in place - large yet comfortable, functional and well-placed (read: beautiful). The dual hands on the chrono subdial at 3 topped it off. Could this be a keeper for a watch whore like me? Who knows.Couple weeks later, I received a small package of goods including few of the new Speedies with the same 9300 movement. The case looked familiar yet... different, nicer. Larger than the original, sure, but again - very comfortable. And truth be told, I prefer the dual subdial layout to the original, it is much more balanced and the date does not look like it is crammed in there. Plus oversized and raised crystal on the back, showing even more of that magnificent engine. Will the Oyster Perpetual 36 Blue be discontinued?
Long shot, but does anyone know if the Oyster Pereptual 36 Blue (116000 - with the 3-6-9 Arabic numerals) will be discontinued after Baselworld 2018?I'm waiting until after Baselworld April 2018 to buy the watch (in case there's something I like more that comes out during Baselworld), but if it might be discontinued then I might just buy it now...A salesperson at a boutique told me that it might be discontinued, since it's the only color of the OP36 that wasn't 'upgraded' to sticks instead of 3-6-9 Arabic numerals in 2014...Thanks!
