Breitling IB011012/b957-1ct wrist watches news:
At SIHH Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced a modern version of the Master Memovox International, originally created for the brand¡¯s 125th anniversary in 1958 and also known as the Memovox Worldtimer. The alarm disk on this Memovox (“voice of memory”) features different cities and regions. This piece will be produced in two limited editions in 18-carat pink gold and in steel. These new versions are fitted with the company¡¯s Calibre 956, which is the direct descendant of JLC’s Calibre 815, the first automatic movement with alarm introduced in 1956. This is a rare example of a movement that¡¯s still in production more than 50 years after its creation, though many improvements have been added over the years. In 1959, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 825 added a date aperture at 3 o¡¯clock. Whats a good starter AP, to pick up? Not necessarily looking for the top of the line, just a good my first AP?
Opps... i did it... just bought a non-Rolex watch... I've had Breitlings in the past and liked them ... switched to a sub guy and now got myself this... kind of impulsively as far as my purchases go. Its enormous and taking some getting used to but I really dig the black steel. Still, my Sub-centric self is telling me maybe i should just sell it Took it to the beach today and it was nice having a watch thought that felt as rugged as the terrain I was on. Granted... its probably not as tough as a sub but sure looks mean as hell. What do yall think?
Just wondering what the general consensus is on the 5712g? I can get one from an AD brand new for 10% off. Good deal? Do these hold their value? I know they are sought after as much as the steel version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
