How cool is this new Diving Tool watch from Rama Swiss Watch (RSW)? The wildly functional yet avant garde "instrument" watch seems totally plausible to wear, yet nothing else like it exists. The case is mostly square, with an functional, but cool, looking round rotating bezel over the dial. I like to totally horizontal orientation of the crowns and pushers as well - nice design cue. The first few seconds of looking at the watch you'll be a bit distracted by the novel look. Then you'll appreciate just how usable the watch is. Really nothing that crazy about the design in terms of utility.From a diver's perspective the watch has everything in the right place. 300 meters of water resistance plus the rotating bezel and bright lume covered dial make for an good underwater tool. The large dot hour markers have been cleverly enhanced with a vertical stripe that I feel actually makes the watch easier to read. It also makes the hour markers look like screws. Hands-On: With The New Two-Tone Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15400
The big news from Audemars Piguet is a working prototype of this guy, and we're gonna get to that, but first here is a quick update. The standard Royal Oak, reference 15400, is now available in a two-tone case. Doesn't seem like much, and frankly it isn't much, but the two-tone Royal Oak holds a special place in the heart of many, as the original 5402 was indeed offered this way. Here are a few snaps of it. I have talked further with the seller of the watch I showed at the start of this thread, and the price has improved somewhat, but it's still pretty steep. I may have to sell something to justify buying it. With regard to the different styles of hands used on the 2998 models, MSN, or others, is there a hard and fast rule as to which models had the "lollipop" sweep second hand or the sub dial hands that are tapered? I have seen the lollipop pictured with a few different versions, and I suspect many have been installed recently. I'd like to see one of those lollipops with working lum operating in the dark. It must quite a sight to see that glowing ball moving around the dial.

Ardmore Re-issue question
My second post! I searched and came up empty. My apologies if this has come up before. In 1985 my wife presented me with with a10kt gold filled Hamilton Ardmore re-issue. It has languished in my drawer for quite some time, having stopped working many years ago. I intend to repurpose it as a watch for my daughter since the smaller size seems more appropriate for a lady. If I recall correctly, the reissue was in a series of 2,000 watches. I have number 1985 (the year of our wedding) and i'm wondering if beyond the sentimental value, does this watch have any real "Hamilton value" as a vintage watch itself (now 25 years old).Thanks in advance and i'm really enjoying being a member of the community.LINYBIMMER (Jim)

Which Rolex currently in production is your favorite?
With Baselworld 2018 on the horizon and speculation at an all time high, and possible lineup changes, I thought it would be interesting to see which currently produced Rolex watch(es) are favored here.Mine would be the BLNR. I really think Rolex completely nailed the shade of blue on the bezel and GMT hand. I can't stop looking at it.
