Hi, Folks...and no I am not going to take responsibility for my actions. Before I came to this forum I considered myself rather sane....and now I'm an addict!!I had started a thread asking after reasons for why people were interested in Elgins and liked what I heard. So, I think I can be forgiven for taking a pass through my favorite pawn-o-rama and snapping up what I thought was an Elgin. Its my own fault for not looking closer. Anywhooo....the PW I have has "Vallon" on the face, and though the case itself is rather ornately worked, its pretty plain that the little devil has been hiding in some rat-hole somewhere. ....And no it doesn't run. Go!*It's a significant amount of money, I know. I for one do not have money to set fire to. I have used the word 'only' and deliberately emphasised it in inverted commas because, in my humble view, the amount is academic when dropping that much on a watch
