- Should be constantly wearing... the standby time without wrist movement is ~2 days. Looks elegant and classy with all the inner movements visible.

Omega 354 wrist watches news:
PAM 197 RG and Cartier Tortue 8 jours WG. Both using the same 8 days power reserve movement from JLC. Functional advantage I can see with the Cartier is the large display date window while the PAM has no date. The PAM has the PR indicator on the back and of course a superior "user-friendly" crown for the smooth manual movement. Both are in my eyes real beauties. Which is the nicer of the two?Cheers!Johan
Whats up everyone?Im trying to help a friend pick up a watch for the 1500-2500$ range. I told him the best brand name watch I can think of for that price is going to be a Omega Speedmaster. If anyone can think of a better watch feel free to tell me. Anyways, some questions I have are-What reference # speedmaster should I go for?-How much should I pay for that reference?-How reliable is it?-What must the watch come with? The watch must have a steel bracelet. No straps.I am a total noob when it comes to Omegas so please forgive my stupidity in this subject. Thanks everyone
.lesmala.net/jean-michel/s...er/history.htmI stumbled across this website as I have been doing my own research of the watch and thought this might be useful for those who are as versed as I with these watches.
Does anyone know what metal the hands are made of on the 'standard' PO's and what metal are the surrounds on the luminescent hour markers? I was told on Rolexes (sub) it's White gold! What do Omega use?
Has anyone seen this factory set ruby dial before?Notice the Ruby¡¯s set for the romans, very original.I like this one
