Omega Omega 220 wrist watches news:
What is the difference between the MTG1500-1A and the MTG1500-1AJF? I know the JF is the Japanese version, but what is actually different about the two watches? They look identical and I haven't been able to find much info online. Also, what type of front glass does Casio use on these? I know it's not sapphire but is it mineral glass like Citizen uses or plastic?
1931 Perry; wearing it today (and, yes, I picked the shirt to match the hands)...What are you all wearing this weekend?
We explored the more famous watches worn by some of our favorite movie heros and villains in an earlier thread. Most of us can ID the Rolexes, Omegas, and Tags. However, there is one watch I've repeatedly viewed and have tried to ID w/o success. It is worn by the character of Sonny in Miami Vice. The watch looks suspiciously like an Invicta Espadon. However, since most lesser known Invicta models are close copies of more famous and expensive brand models, my ID may not be correct.Don't ask me why I like the movie. it has more to do with my time as a part time and lesser known inshore and flats flyfishing guide in and around South Florida. My ability with a flyrod and local fishing knowledge let me spend a lot of free time around flats boats and high rollers. I've actually been to some of the settings in the movie and many other places very similar. So it is nostalgia and not the acting or quality of the film that intrigues me. Anyway, if anyone can ID the watch, it will put to rest a q
Curious what people thought of this one. Look right? Thanks,Derek
