Omega 231.13.39.21.03.001 wrist watches news:
Sorry - Regimen.OK. Dumb question. Not as dumb as What is the average discount I should received on a stainless steel Rolex or Is it safe to wear my expensive watch in _____ City, Country etc...Now we know (after numerous comments from Padi) that the best way to clean a Rolex SS sports watch is with a soft toothbrush and gentle soap / warm water. No Veraet / fancy watch cleaners required.Same for a Royal Oaks? 15300 / 15400 / 15202?Reason I ask is I know the fine brushed surfaces can scratch if you look at them funny. Would a garden-variety toothbrush mar the fine brushed surface of a RO?What do folks to do in terms of regular cleaning? Thanks
Although the watch is thick, it wears well. I was concerned the height would prevent this watch from easily sliding underneath the cuff of my dress shirts, but that has not been the case. And, the bracelet and clasp I initially believed to be heavy and bulky are, in fact, the perfect counterweight to the watch case. I have 6.5” wrists, and I don’t think the 300MC is too much:What amazes me most, however, is the timekeeping. Sure, we could all have a watch more accurate than any mechanical on the market if we simply bought a Quartz. And, my Rolex DateJust I and Sub 114060 are both within COSC specifications. This Omega, however, is something different altogether. Over the past three days of wearing the watch, I cannot discern that it has lost or gained a second. This “slow-beat” 3.5 hertz movement has impressed me. I had—and still have—my doubts about the co-axial hoopla. It seems overly complicated. For example: If the co-axial movement is
But it surely isn't the only reason.
Everyone,I've been searching all the related material in this forum on the relative benefits of the Speedmaster line. Having initially thought about the broadarrow or the new co-axial version I think I've been convinced to go for the manual wind Speedmaster Pro given it's history and authenticity.I just need to decide on whether to go for original 3570.50 or the sapphire sandwich version which I think is getting the vote at the moment as being able to see the beautiful movement is fab.I'm in the UK and want to know where the best place to purchase will be as i do a lot of travelling and frequently to the US. Personally I think that i'll have more of a chance getting some sort of discount at an American AD then one over here in the UK. What do you think??Also I plan to buy on a bracelet but then put on a black leather omega deployment strap. Where's the best place to get these, at the AD as well??
Not much to say, i'll just leave this ONE pic, and it speaks for itself droooooollllI know some of you have seen my anti Patek posts due to bad experience and well, I do still think a bunch of the pieces are overpriced... but after experiencing tons of higher end pieces (50-100k) I can honestly say they are all overpriced This watch however makes me see it's true value, it just feels so special, just perfection in my eyes.On to my new 5960p , I went back and forth between Grey and Blue dial.. I wound up with Grey, and let me say, I am so happy with my choice ! I love the elegance of the grey, so versatile, yet still can be casual/sporty. The dark brown strap I also love , and I didn't in pictures. After pairing it with many outfits it goes with everything, just a stunning watch in every way !
