Omega 2652 wrist watches news:
The Porsche Club of America, which is more than 100 000 members, but which is also the largest club of its kind has worked closely with Tag Heuer to make this limited edition Monaco based watch. Why they did not work with Porsche Design Eterna, I do not know. Seems that it would have been just a little bit more sense. Although this pattern of special colour on the Monaco is enough cherry. As the cherry, with its mainly black tones with a racing stripe red black and white trim.
Before the War it was referencing the railroads. Soon after the War they had to change. The American watch manufacturers had to make a diversified group of items for the military and lost their lead in sales to the Swiss in US sales. In 1947 seven million watches were sold in the US...only two million were manufactured here. To get back the market share Hamilton dropped the RR theme and emphasized quality, accuracy, and the beauty of the Hamilton watches. It worked...Finally their ad themes went to science and electronics. What do you see in Hamilton ads now? Can you pick up any themes?
A couple of weeks ago I did a project using the PVD version of the Seiko Stargate. This was done using a military dial. I liked the result but I found that the dial was too busy for me. Culprit the double minute markers and the fact that the numbers were too far from the edge of the chapter ring. My opinion of course and while I liked it I wanted it to look a little different. So I started a new research and decided to use a dial that did not have the minute markers so that I did not have to mess with the chapter ring etc. I opted for a SKX173 dial which is similar to the original Stargate one but does not have the chrome frame which I thought did not fit with the hands and the black of the case. After checking different hands I also opted for the original hour and minute hands from the Stargate but changed the seconds hand to one from the SKX007. Overall not a bad result. Checking it out more of course and will decide if a keeper or not. In the meantime I wanted to share some
Hey everyone. i posted here a few days back in regards to my first AP which i was trying to purchase from a fellow member here, felt like i am being rushed in to the deal and asked for opinion, in return the seller came on the post and started to tell his side of the story, one thing led to another and i went and bought the Skydweller instead. a few days and a few txt later Amir and i decided to meet ( not in the dark ally i was trying to meet with him to first time) we met at Westime on sunset blvd where Raffi the manager took a look at the watch and told me there is nothing to worry about and to go on with purchase. the whole time Amir was offering everything possible to make me feel more comfortable about the purchase. making a long story short i came back home with a new AP and despite thinking my girlfriend will do splits in bed tonight after giving her the watch, i ended up sleeping on the couch for buying more stupid watches... bottom line - well worth it
What is Omega's recommended maintenance schedule on automatic models? How much does it cost, etc? Thanks,Dave
