Chopard 168459-3001 wrist watches news:
Not really my cup of tea that I prefer A Lange, AP or Breguet when it comes to Visual appeal for that kind of money, but I appreciate the craft and the history of the brand.Probably the best quality control in the industry.
After experiencing a traumatic event when my Omega PO flew off my wrist in response to a painful wasp attack (striking a brick wall and then hitting the asphalt), I sent same off to the Authorized Omega service center on the East Coast for repair and refurbishment. There were several rather severe impact scratches/gouges on the case, metal bracelet, and crown. The watch continued to tick away; however, I knew it must have sustained internal damage in addition to the cosmetic. The service center did a fully satisfactory job with just about everything with the exception of the deepest impact gouges on the watch's bracelet. Based on several recommendations on this site and others, I took the watch to Rik Dietel of Time Care Inc of Seminole, FL (Tampa Bay area) Time Care Inc. - The Watch Repair Experts!. Rik did what the service center could/would not do he completely (and masterfully) removed the deepest blemishes. Rik was kind enough to complete the work while I waited. From thi
I need to replace the broken white platic parts for the quickset calendar function in a Seiko 7s26. Can someone provide the proper names for these 2 white wheels seen here: Google Seiko 7S26/7S36/6R15 date mis-alignment problem and solution for a picture of these partsIt appears Jules Borel has some parts for this but I am unsure of the proper nomenclature of these partsTHANK YOU
Hey guys I was just wondering what you guys think looks the best with just jeans and a t shirt because thats pretty much all i wear. Looking forward to some good opinions.
What is the average cost of an Omega Speedy Service from Omega? Just curious, I don't like to buy watches that cost alot to maintain. I do maintain them and I can't imagine that Omega Speedy costs too much, but just want to know. I'm thinking just a movement service. Believe it or not, I like scratches and nicks (provided they aren't massive or on the xtal). Will Omega honor a request that you not polish the case? Also, do any of you guys us locals to do your service? I sent my Panerai (6497 movement) to a Rolex autorized repairer and it was completed at a fraction of the cost Panerai would charge. Panerai starts at $500 for an 6497. That is rediculous IMHO. Thanks in advance.
