Montblanc e-Strap Combines Smart Wearable Device With Mechanical Watch In New Timewalker Urban Speed Collection
Prior to the Geneva watch trade show SIHH 2015, watch and luxury goods maker Montblanc has announced it is stepping into the smartwatch market ¨C well, at least the smart wearables market. The upcoming Montblanc Timewalker Urban Speed collection of timepieces will have an optional strap called the e-Strap (product reference 113827) ¨C perhaps the first smart connected wearable from an established luxury company. The e-Strap features a high-end leather strap that has a carbon fiber texture to it that Montblanc calls "Extreme Montblanc Leather" and is produced by them in Florence, Italy. At the bottom, sitting under your wrist is an electronic module made from DLC (diamond like carbon) coated steel or in gray steel. Apparently, there are a few color and size options.Why isn't Montblanc simply producing a smartwatch that combines technology with luxury watch design and materials? Oris GMT Diver - anyone have one??
This is not in the Oris catalogue I have, so I've only just discovered it. WOW!! . I love the look of this watch.Does anyone have one, and can give any comments or more pics. Seiko SKX007 vs. SKX009
I already have two watches with black dial and black bezel. An Omega SMP 2254.50 and a Seiko Sport 5 SNZD71K.So I have this itch to add another watch. Which one should I go for? My favorite color combo, the Black dial, black bezel?Or try something new, blue and red bezel, and don't know what color dial the SKX009 has.Thanks for your feedback.

Is this normal - speedy second hand
I accidentally slow pushed the chrono start pusher and the second hand jumps a lot. The longer I take to push the pusher the longer it jumps. Is this normal? It's under warrantee Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Deployant clasp is it an unnecessary aftermarket luxury?
I have been thinking about getting a deployant for my 5127R.What are the pros and cons?To my way of thinking, they add further presence and safety for the watch. But they are not cheap to buy and I doubt very much, that you would get much extra should you sell the watch, though it would be a good bargaining feature.Does it centralised the watch on your wrist?Currently on the clasp, mine sits further towards the 12 o'clock position.
