- This is a beautiful watch. I recieved the Heidi Daus Damiesolle amethyst and crystal ring with the dragonflies and this watch matches lit perfectly. I am very excited to wear them together. Just lovely.

Omega 123.55.24.60.52.002 wrist watches news:
....how "rare" a watch could possibly be if you can go into any AD and buy it?Rare Longines Conquest Steel Automatic Man's Watch | eBayDoes the seller really think it's vintage or are they hoping for a nincompoop buyer? Here's ANOTHER seller confusing the reissue with the original vintage piece:cgi.ebay/VINTAGE-LONGINES...#ht_1599wt_907
.and I mean that literally. Remember that I said I would receive my UG triple calendar moonphase today? Here it is: Yep, I didn't get it because Jesse bailed at the last minute because of some electrical issues at home. So what was I going to do? Well, I could tell you but showing you is even better.Had my loupe on me so the dial checked out perfectly. The case has the twisted lugs like a Speedmaster (dig those), the crown and caseback still have the logos (dig both those things too), and it's been running flawlessly since this afternoon. A Polerouter with a microrotor has been on my list for over 3 years, but I just couldn't find the right combination of this chapter ring, a crosshair original dial, and the crown + casback logos intact. Now I can cross that one off. Oh, and now the Corum is gone. That was traded as part of the deal. How about some shots of UG guts? It has a caliber 215-1. I'll find out the details on what year and such soon. The crystal has a few scuffs
Call me difficult, but I would like to point out the loose usage of this term by numerous sellers on TRF.May I respectfully request that this term be reserved for reference to the Omega Speedmaster Professional watches only? If it's an automatic you're talking about, it simply can't be a moon watch. Some purists might urge that this term reference only models like the 145.012 and 105.012. However, omega itself refers to both vintage and current Speedmaster Professional watches, ie 3570.50, as moon watches. My impression is that it helps prevent misunderstandings if we agree on the definition of terms. What do you think?
Just wanted to share some pic of my DayDate 40. This watch is getting a majority of wrist time IMG_2580.JPGIMG_2644.JPGIMG_2685.JPGIMG_2831.JPGIMG_2851.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As the title implies, I am considering my first Rolex. My options are the Explorer 1 (lumed 39MM) or the 5-digit ExplorerII. Prices are relatively close. My wife likes the New Explorer. She feels it is dressier. I like the older Explorer2s. In theory, it's a gift from her. Black EXP2 maybe dressier than white with dark dial and gold hands and surrounds?
