Jaeger LeCoultre 175.81.21 wrist watches news:
Hi. I'm a big watch fan and really like Patek (along with Rolex, Breguet, JLC, and Panerai, owning some of those too).Patek and its history, watches, position, name, etc. in the watch world never cease to fascinate me, so I am glad to find a forum open to a newbie watch fan and collector. As a short intro, here are my current PPs. I have high hopes to add at least another as soon as it's possible (and I can make up my mind).I'll look forward to learning and sharing info with you all. p.s. Now that I have a little collection, my next step is to learn how to take decent watch photos.
I received this watch as an unexpected early Christmas gift, along with the admonition: ¡°I don¡¯t know if this is a brand that even interests you, and I don¡¯t know if you¡¯ll like the color, and you can always return it and get something you really want instead.¡± Truth is, I know relatively little about Victorinox as a brand, and, left to my own devices, I probably wouldn¡¯t have been shopping around for a watch with a red dial. All that being said, this watch has been a very pleasant surprise, and I¡¯ll definitely be hanging on to it! Since there doesn¡¯t seem to be a lot of information out there concerning this model, I thought I¡¯d share some observations here. The Victorinox AirBoss Mach 6 is an auto/chrono that features a Valjoux 7753 movement. Out of the box, it has been running at around +1 sec./day, which I find to be pretty amazing. The dial on this particular model is a rich shade of burgundy ¨C the color we¡¯ve become accustomed to on the cases of Victorinox Swiss Army knives ov
This is turning out to be one of my favorite watches....I actually get compliments from my WIFE when I wear it and she doesn't look twice when I wear my Rolex!!!! The Omega experts here might notice I swapped my 186.1998 stem for the much more functional 186.1999 stem thanks to Otto Frei's incredible stock of NOS parts!!!! Now I'm also considering the titanium bezel.....
Hi everyone,Just got myself a Superocean Steelfish 44mm Silver Dial (2008), my first Breitling.Still getting used to the weight of the watch, it is Heavy. (Much much heavier than my Rolex and Omega)Not sure if this topic came up before, It it possible to fit the Pro II Bracelet to the New Breitling Push Button Clasp?Would this not be the ideal combination? Security and easy adjustments.Maybe I should ask AD.Any thoughts?
I collect some glass items and some Illuminate when a black light is shined on them. So years ago I picked up a small handheld Blacklight flashlight. I also recently picked up a BLRO. Tonite I decided to see if a black light would charge the lume any differently. To my amazement it did something really weird to the Blue/Purple half of the bezel. When the black light was illuminated the Blue dissapears and it turns the bezel all Red/Cranberry. I bet it also works on the BLNR.If you also want to see something really weird if you or you wife have any diamond jewelry shine a blacklight on the diamonds. Some of you may discover something you never knew about diamonds, kinda like this bezel.
