I'm New! A few questions about Kenneth Cole, Seiko & Casio G-Shock
Hi guys, I'm new.I always wanted a nice watch and I recently bought a Kenneth Cole watch. It said it was Japan movement, but would anyone happen to know the quality of this movement? What are your thoughts on these watches?Also, after trolling thru this forum, I decided to buy an Orient blue mako (the old one). I love how the new one looks, but it's a bit too expensive for me. I bought to old one for $100 shipped new through eBay. After watching youtube videos (pics can't capture the looks for the face), I decided to buy it. You all know what it looks like but here's a stock pic anyway.Next watch I am planning to buy is the Seiko monster. After seeing the apparent hype around this forum, I decided to look into it. It seemed ugly to me at first, but it started to grow on me. I like it now, it looks really rugged.I was thinking of this "neo monster" version.What color is this face, by the way, is it blue or black?Also, what do you guys think about Casio G-Shock? Inherited Longines Pocket watch. Need to Id
Hello friends. I hate to bother, but I inherited a pocket watch and I need to know how much is it worth. I know nothing about watches but here are some pics and data to look atThe watch is not running I can only assume it works by winding it. It has a winder but it has resistance when trying to wind it clockwise. Counterclockwise has no resistance at all. It opens in the back (to make it a standing watch for night table i would guess)Has its chainThe numbers by the Longines logo are: 3412 (long space) 4 Under that number: 245Hope you can help with he model, year of make etc Thank you so much for your help!If you need more specific pics let me knowEDIT*** managed to pop open the back and there's a number 7801891***

Mitsukoshi dial conversion fit issue on 3570.50 Speedy
Hi all. Recently I obtained a Mitsukohsi Dial/Hand package kit for a conversion project I wanted to do on my modern 3570.50 (watch purchased new in 2013). I purchased the full set of dial and hands in one bulk buy from someone who originaly bought from Ofrei but never got around the doing the project. I made sure all the parts were intended for the cal 1861 movement and though it would be all set. I sent the watch off the my local maker a few days ago. Today he says the dial is not fitting correctly and the hands wont fit.Upon some research I see the hands are commonly a little too tight to fit and require some 'encouragement' by filing down the holes so they are ever so slightly bigger, as noted here in reply number 4forums.watchuseek/f20/spe...t-2592618.htmlWhat I am confused about is the dial fit.
