Moving On An Upward Spiral With Angular Momentum's Enameled Crystal Time Spiral Watch
When art and watch presentation intersect, it is easy to go overboard with too much. This is why I am happy to see the AXIS/XXVII Time Spiral - Ref. 6270 from Angular Momentum. They've taken the spiral design, and ingeniously integrated it into the watch face. You'll notice this is no mere spiral painted on a watch, but the actual numbers and layout are integrated into the design, which is still perfectly legible as a watch.The design is reverse painted on the sapphire crystal. This technique is often called eglomise, and has been well utilized by Angular Momentum for sometime on a number of watches. This watch does something a bit differently, in that it uses black enamel on the inside of the thick 3mm crystal. The effect is a smooth yet very crisp look that wont ever rub off, because it is applied on the inside of the watch. Does anyone know if Jaeger-LeCoultre discontinued the use of its webcam? It gave nice views of the manufacture and the surrounding countryside including Lake Joux and the village of La Golisse. I was at their site earlier and can no longer find a link for it.

A new member of the Breitling club!
So I was killing time at the big mall here in Orlando while my wife was doing whatever she does. This mall has a Breitling Boutique (as well as a Rolex and Omega boutique as well). They had a boutique only 1 of 100 Avenger Blackbird with a stunning yellow face that really caught my eye. It was $5100 and I nearly got sucked into the 1 of 100 bit but I decided to take my smartphone (at my wife's insistence) and ask in this forum if the limited edition actually increases the value. Nearly immediately I received a response that no, in fact it does not and by the way don't buy a Breitling new anyway. After a long weekend rockin' the PAM, it always feels weird putting on anything smaller (and lighter!). Even the Sub seems small at times. Heck, even other 44mm watches seem small in comparison... I think I have just become a full-fledged Paneristi.
