- This watch is very comfortable, easy to read & nice-looking. My only fear is that it is not waterof, so I have been pretty careful when near water. Great for everyday, casual wear.

Omega Omega 8932 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch." In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we're speaking with Christian Bedat, founder of RED8, who quite literally grew up in the industry, and wraps things up with a great bit of life advice.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Christian Bedat: I was born in the industry - I'm the son of the late Simone Bedat, who founded Raymond Weil and then helped me manage Bedat & Co. I grew up in the industry and spent my youth in factories and the worldwide market. The passion grew slowly to become part of my personality. I can now say that, at the age of 50, I have over 40 years of experience.ABTW: When did your fascination with watches start?Christian Bedat: Again, at young ages, spending time around watch people from all fields. I attended my first Basel fair as a child at the age of 7,
Hi I am sell my watches and am looking for some advise on the best platform to sell them. The local watch store wants too big of a bite and I don't trust them. I have two Rolex men's watches. A explorer ii (all the papers etc) and a Cellini I received as a gift as a young man. Attached are a few pics. I can figure a ballpark for the explorer ii but the value for the gold Cellini is a enigma. Any experts on the value of the Cellini? Any advise on where to sell appreciated. I am not sure if everyone makes it over to the General Discussion Forum - I thought this could be posted here as well for obvious reasons .I am sure that many of the people you work with are aware of your addict...er...hobby. My boss and I have had several discussions surrounding fine timepieces. On occasion, we also get to talk with clients about their watches - if I notice something unique. My box has a Rolex Cellini and enjoys it quite a bit. It is his pride and joy from a watch standpoint. So, one day he mentioned that he had some old watches of his dad's and that he would give them to me. He has no children and preferred that they go to someone who would appreciate them. The topic was discussed and not brought up again. I had forgotten about it and then we met in Miami for a client of ours. My boss produced a ziplock bag with 3 watches. One a throw-away, one an abused Omega, and the last a Hamilton that had seen much better days.I refused the watches as I know he has a nep
So I love my steel 44mm ROO, enjoying it immensely.I told myself that I was going to get one AP, and that was the one. And it is.(insert I told you so remark here...)But I'm smitten by the carbon version of the watch, and also with the Jarno Trulli. For me, the steel model will stand the test of time in that I feel it will still retain its character after 20 years. But thinking of picking up a second one... My constraints are that I do wear suits most of the time, so the only options that I'm looking at that are subtle enough, if that even is a fair term here, are the ROO 44mm carbon and the Jarno Trulli. For those of you who currently own or have owned a carbon case AP, let me ask an honest question: have you grown tired of the look? If you can share any experiences on owning an exotic material cased piece how long it has stayed in your favor.I have to admit the carbon is very comfortable to wear. Thanks again guys, looks like I'm going to totally slide down the AP slope....Oh and some pi
