Greetings,A friend of mine has made me aware of this neck of the woods and I thought I'd sign in and say hello. I currently have four Omega's and this is my Favorite.Omega I'd most like to own is an Olympic Planet Ocean Chrono.

Another Lord Elgin with the 760 movement
Meant to post about it here, but mistakenly put it in the General discussion forum.Anyway, found another Lord Elgin with the 760 movement and just got it back from my watch guy. Serviced, new mainspring, and cleaned up a bit...Overall it is in great shape. The back has an inscription, but I think the condition of the rest of the watch makes up for that.One thing though, is that the only band I had that would fit 16mm lugs was a Speidel and I'm not really liking it with the watch. A fellow forum member posted this LE with a band that I really like. Anyone know where to get something similar?Here are some pics...

I need help with my watch
I have a Casio G-Shock DW5600E which has a bit of water damage. I had opened it up and lost the gasket. Eventually I found the gasket, re-lubed it, and put it back in. Yesterday I was washing my hands, I wear my watches low on my wrist, almost touching my hand, and some water hit it. The display started fading away so I opened it up and found water all over it's insides. I stuck the module under my fridge for a few hours and it dried. I put it all back together but this time replaced the screws, which were striped before. Now I am afraid to put it in water to make sure it's still water resistant. I need to find out since I swim regularly and I need my watch for swimming. I just need it for at least swimming, I'm not a snorkeler or diver or anything. I just need it for swimming and washing my hands and stuff. It's usually 200m water resistant by the way. Thanks!

Really excited to join this great fraternity. I looked at many models, but the ROC fit me the best. I loved the 42mm ROO Chrono, but alas, the ROC fit me a little better and just was what I was looking for. A little more understated and very classy.... I didn't have a white/silver faced watch, so this was the one. Mulled it over for 6+ months. Finally pulled the trigger at a nice AP boutique in Aspen. The sales guy, Ivan, was a pleasure to work with and I took the plunge.

Have Explorer I pre-2016, what is next ¨C GMTc Master II or Explorer II 40mm?
Hi All,Just got the Explorer I and now I am looking for my next one. I o travel, although not as much as I used to and see value in one of the Rolex GMT watches. I will buy pre-owned and have an option of buying a 2006 or 2009 GMTc Master II 116710 Z serial number or Explorer II D serial number in white dial. I like the GMTc for its three time zone feature, however it looks like a dive watch to me. Moreover, I already have the black dial Explore I and buying another black dial may not make sense. The GMTc is $1,500 more than the Explorer II.Overall, I find the GMTc much more appealing. On the other hand, I like the idea of having a white dial Rolex that will compliment my Explorer I.Can¡¯t seem to make up my mind as this will be the watch I will buy this year¡­ famous last words¡­.
