Audemars Piguet 25995IP/0/1000TI/01 wrist watches news:
There are certain high-end Swiss watches that I've always admired for their style and function, among them is the Ulysse Nardin GMT ¡À Perpetual. It's a travel watch in the tradition of the Rolex GMT Master, but with a neat twist: It has two buttons that increment or decrement the local time. When you travel, simply press the buttons as required to jump to your destination time zone! Simple to use, hard to make and very functional. However, being a Swiss chronometer of in-house design, the Ulysse Nardin is out of my price range. Imagine my surprise and delight, then, at discovering that well-regarded Swiss brand Oris now has a similar watch, the Oris Atelier Worldtimer. I saw somewhere that the model has been discontinued on March...Is that true?If it is, which is the new model? Cause at their site, Rolex still has the 16610.
I can't decide which watches I like better. As of now I have 3 Hamilton electrics (Taurus, Savitar II and a Pacer), 2 Accutron Spaceviews, 1 Accutron quartz, 2 Bulova Computron LED's and 2 Pulsar LED's (not to mention Tudor, Rolex, Vostok, Benrus, Omega and Seiko). The Hamilton's have style and a look that no other company has. I was attracted for that reason. I just bought another 505 to put in my Savitar II that came from a Buick watch. I like the idea of mixing the 2. The stylish car company with the watch. The other thing I really like is the lightning bolt second hand that came stock on the mechanism. But now my question: how did you settle on collecting a particular brand or type of watch? I just can't bring myself to do that. I love it all too much.

Have seen a few posts on the edges of this topic but looking for a head-on answer to how far a 5167 can be pushed in terms of activity - how far have these been pushed and are there any true use cases out there that have actually damaged the watch beyond cosmetic? Thanks.
