- I liked the watch, but would agree with all the other reviews. The watch band is cheap and actually a bit tacky. If you don't mind buying another band this is a great watch for the money. I am girl, and I love wearing the watch.

Bell & Ross BR01-92 Pink Gold Carbon wrist watches news:
hello all,i am looking at purchasing a breitling crosswind with a white face. the question i have is some of the subdials (chronograph) are a bone color and the numbers on the chrongraph are printed in a regular font. then, there is a white subdial, which i prefer versus the bone, but those numbers seem to be slanted (italicized). and then finally i have seen the slanted number on top of a mother of pearl subdial. what i want to know, is did they make the crosswind with white subdials and a regular font not the slanted font? thankshere is a couple of links so you can see what i am talking about.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=260284957569cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320272681665any help is appreciated.
Hey IWC Experts,I'm really keen to buy my first IWC and have been checking out the secondhand market. I came across the watch below, but have no idea if it is genuine. Is this a real model? Look familiar to anyone? Any help would be gratefully received! Thanks in advance :-)17068625.jpg
I have a 1940-41 Hamilton Foster that I have restored to pristine condition. I had the movement serviced, the cased polished, and a new, old stock mineral crystal for a 1940 Foster placed onto it. [the jeweler commented: "The crystal fit so perfect it was as if it was made for this watch, which of course it was!"] The only thing missing is an era specific solid 14K yellow gold Hamilton buckle to go with it. I need a 14MM buckle and have exhausted all of the sources I can think of. Does anyone have any sources for one? Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. The watch is just so beautiful and will be perfect when it has the buckle. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
We need a quick reference for commonly used watch abbreviations and terms. New members are joining us every day, and as veterans we sling the terms around like it's our native tongue. I'm not talking about every day internet things like IMHO, AFAIK or GTG. I'm talking about this: "I sent my TT DJ to the RSC. While it's at the spa, I'm sporting my DRSD. I think a trip to my AD is in order for a look at a ND Sub. I'd like to compare it to the new PO." I've started the basics but need your help adding to the list. I keep getting distracted (hey, my screen name is ulackfocus after all!) and seeing as it's second nature I can't list it all because I'm too used to it. Here's what I have. Please add on your replies, and then we'll edit it into one post with forum specific terminology. I have an Invicta ocean ghost 2 with no lume only on the hand's, and it only last a few minutes. But my question is how big of a deal is lume on a dive watch ,don't get me wrong I'll will never go in the ocean with it. So is it a big deal because I find it stupid for a watch company too make a dive watch and put no lume on the hour markers. What's your take.
