Patek Philippe 5140J-001 wrist watches news:
What are your collecting goals for the new year?I don't think I met many of my targets from last year. I was going to snag a long curvex model of some sort but didn't. I may this year but I think I'll be looking for a Carlisle or Yorktowne. I'd also like to fill out my collection of early geometrics. Modest goals coupled with a lot more of the business as usual...service, bracelets and such.
With no reason, I want to introduce my Seiko family to you folks...As they are too many for just one thread, will be doing various threads, so here we go with the first editionSNA411, Movement 7T62SNA413, Movement 7T62SNA414, Movement 7T62SNA225, Movement 7T62SKX779, Movement 7S26SKX781, Movement 7S26SNZF83, Movement 7S36Next issue, tomorrow
First off, just want to say that I'm happy with the way the forum is looking. Gotten used to it quite quickly. One question, however. Does anyone know of a shortcut to view the last two days' posts (or so) without having to go into the search feature. I don't know if it was the old BB or my computer, but I got very used to just clicking on a button in the top bar that allowed me to do this. It also showed the posts I had read as well as those I had not. Can someone shed some light?
Hi,My 2500d mov't is running a little quick. Do the rules normally used for a Rolex work for this type of watch?Dial up last night definitely made it gain a couple of seconds. I'd like to try and get it to loose a couple overnight. Would crown down work do you think?
as i have never owned a gmt...when setting the time on the gmt's does it click as the crown is turned? my smp doesn't do this...is this typical for the gmt's..i hope this question makes sense..any help would be appreciated.
