Guess what I saw the deep sea in person
I finally got a chance to see the deep sea in person yesterday at the casino and man was it huge and thick. I was wearing my Invicta russian diver it was'nt in the display case so I had asked if it was as big as my russian diver it was'nt but it was thick. I had menchend the deep sea and it was the woman working there who was the one who had said they had it. But there was some good news bad news, The good news was I finally got to see it but the bad news it was on hold for some one else sighI told her if I were ever to hit the big one I would come back and offer the buyer double what he paid lol. I just hope who ever it was that bought it enjoys it even though I will never be able to afford one I must say thats a real man's watch.:D

manually winding new Khaki Field Automatic?
I recently purchased a Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic (H7-685387). I asked the salesperson if I needed to wind the watch any. He asked if I'd wear it most every day (yes), and if I would wear it while I slept (no). He said to wind it 40 times after I bought it, then said I might want to wind it maybe 10-15 turns every 3 or 4 days, just to be safe.Does that sound like good advice? I have a desk job - lots of computer time, and will not be playing handball while wearing the watch (that's a joke....I won't have an unusually high "wrist turning" activity rate).I'm still reading and trying to learn more about accuracy - I realize my main purpose for buying the watch is because of the mechanical wonder it is (and this model's styling). Again, just wondering about the wind it twice a week advice. I've had the a few weeks - seems to be +8 seconds per day. I've given it 10 turns on Saturdays and Tuesdays.Thanks in advance.

Here is a little story you might all appreciate....So, I go to the weekly staff meeting and much to my surpise, I am the last one there. That seemed odd because I am never the last one.I looked at my Seamaster and its 9:57. I remarked that I was surprised everyone was there on time. My boss said I was late. I said, I don't think so. Its 9:57. He looked at the clock on the wall and said, Its 10:01. I said, Actually, I think your clock is wrong because I set my watch to time.gov run by National Institute of Standards. Boss says, How do you know your watch is right. I say, Because it is certifide by the official Swiss testing institute.Everyone looked dumbfounded. Discussion over. Seamaster, ~$3,000.
