Hublot US Liberty Bang Limited Edition Watch
Is this the week of American themed watches or what? Just a few days ago I discussed the Perrelet Turbine XL America, that was a bit of a polarizing piece. Now I present to the Swiss Hublot US Liberty Bang - one of Hublot's latest limited edition Big Bang watches. This watch was unveiled recently in Philadelphia of all places - during the annual award ceremony where the Constitution Center (a non-government organization) gave out its annual Liberty Medal award.The watch will be exclusively available in the US (duh) and limited to just 100 pieces. The dial of the 45mm wide Big Bang watch has a US flag motif made up of text. That text begins with the preamble of the US Constitution followed by other that as far as I know is not in the Constitution I read. Seems like descriptive text talking about the founding fathers, etcStill pretty cool. It is interesting from a poetic standpoint to have the flag made up of words, as powerful words were really what we study when discussing the history

This year they will be donating a special and unique version of the Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar wristwatch. 1 OF 2 The watch was exclusively designed for the Only Watch auction. The Chinese Calendar complication, developed in-house, is a tribute to the age-old culture. The dial features the hours, minutes, and the Gregorian calendar alongside the Chinese calendar's major indicators. This includes the traditional double-hour indication, day, month (with leap months), signs of the zodiac, and the five elements and the 10 celestial stems. Vintage Omega Case Tubes
How is a vintage case tube held in place? is it press fit or held with an adhesive?I have ordered all the new parts for the watch pictured in my avatar, but the case tube is not threaded like a Rolex one.(new case tube, crown, dial, hands, strap, gaskets..)
