Three designers were once more the chance to create their own interpretation of this classic in 2011, in a performance that reflects their personality without hide the original. Joint project of this year, the Maurice Lacroix and Wallpaper sought without compromise designers who are faithful to their beliefs and whose work reflects their own styles. The result is an impressive trio of Kris Van Assche, Patricia Urquiola, and Rodolfo Dordoni.Each of them will now create a unique interpretation of the Pontos Décentrique GMT - no aesthetic condition. Watches will be presented at Baselworld 2011 in March, and then sold at auction on Antiquorum of activity in the 22, 2011. The product will go to the three charities of choice the designers.

It's Been A Long Weekend......
Have a cool watch incoming which was to be on my wrist on Friday but didn't end leaving till Sat...very frustrating but it's on it's way now, so exciting times are ahead. Today I got the call and was excited to pick this up right before Christmas. Sourcing this was much easier than expected and took just under one week from request to delivery. I had mentioned to my AD a few months ago that I would like one whenever they got one in, but I was buying a Christmas present for my wife this past Thursday in the store and said that I wanted it for sure. Since one hadn��t come into the store, I asked if they could source it for me. I went home, and 3 hours later I got a call to say one would be delivered the following week. I was surprised when it arrived today to have my information already printed on the certificate of origin as I have never had one done that way before but it was a nice touch. The watch is just stunning. Its way heaver that I thought it would be (in a good way) and it��s also thinner than expected (also in a good way). First impressions are that it��s a keeper for sure and I think it��s going to be my favorite watch. It is now for sure,
