:) I think I'll scrub down my Omegas and really detail them by taking out a few scratches from the clasps and such, and take some pictures later.anybody up for s fresh round of pics, get your cameras out and shoot away.how often do you folks detail your watches?I'm sort of fanatacal about it and I've not done it in a while. Experience with after market parts for SMP
I wanted your thoughts or experiences about after-market parts for a SMP.My 2254's bezel has faded enough for me to notice the difference and I want it black again. I have searched for an OEM bezel insert but found only the entire bezel which costs around $220 from Omega of Ofrei among other sources.On eBay there is a seller that is selling an after market insert. Has anyone bought an after market insert or other part for their SMP?

Hello everyone, tomorrow I set off to Florida with all of my finances set up to purchase the watch I've wanted for many years. If you remember me, you'll recall that I plan to purchase a Rolex Submariner no-date. Well, I will be purchasing this watch within the next few days, but I got to thinking: In Naples, there are several AD's plus many very well regarded estate jewelry stores that sell high-end watches. Perhaps something else will catch my eye and when I put it on I will fall in love and change my mind. Has it ever happened to any of you where you walked into a store knowing you were buying a specific watch, only to change your mind and purchase another?I still plan on buying the Submariner, but am going try on the GMT Master II and possibly an Omega Seamaster. I'm very excited to update the folks on this site when I finally (two years+ after my first post) get my timepiece.
