- This watch has an elegant feel to it and the Mother of Pearl face has a radiant but not overwhelming shine. The blue color of the face was what initially caught my eye. It is beautiful and I highly recommend this watch.

Omega 123.50.24.60.63.002 wrist watches news:
I just picked-up my LV that I had on layaway for the past six months and it looks great. Now I'm looking at the Explorer II white dial. My AD asked what would seem a good discount to me and I told them 25%.Hey, go for gold. I did tell them that there is an AD in Toronto, Canada (4 hours away from me) that discounts Rolex 20-25% depending on the model (no word of a lie, they a one of the biggest volume AD's in the province and my AD knows that). Since I'm a returning customer do I have a chance for 25%??

There is a post running at the moment called Restore or NotThis is on the same theme, and I posted it on the Vintage Rolex Forum"My tale starts around the early 1970's when my father bought this watch for a Goodwill type of shop for $7 yes $ 7. The person that sold it had no idea about the locking crown, and said that you cant wind it. The crystal was missing and the dial was bleached white, I never saw this so I cant commit on its condition.A friend of my father, done watch repairs, and he knew somebody who repainted watch dials, so for another $7 the watch was re dialed, serviced and a new crystal fittedNow with hindsight, it would seem that none of these guys knew what the dial should look like, So what I have now have is thisWhat is it, Its a 1928 9kt Rose Gold Rolex Octagonal not seen too oftenThe crown I think is right for the watch , but is in yellow gold OK this is my question to everybody This was my fathers watch, he wore it just as it was, until he passed away, and then
I currently own a Hamilton GE Savitar II electric watch. I am wondering what the original strap or band was for this version of the Savitar II. In Rene Rondeau's most recent edition of his book, on page 196, there is a picture of this watch with a brown leather or lizard strap. However, I'm wondering if it could have come with the original gold tone Savitar II bracelet. Appreciate all of your feedback on this one. If anyone out there has an original gold tone Savitar II bracelet for sale, please contact me at simplexity11@hotmail. Thanks!Best,Will
I'm looking at a SMP 2254.50 and am wondering what sort of discount others have got when they have purchased this watch (or other Omegas). The first time I walked into the AD they almost immediately said they could include the tax (works out to a 14% discount).Any thoughts on whether the non-coaxial watches will be further discounted to make room for the new models?
